Natalie Logan

Bio

Natalie Logan is passionate about the ways we can communicate and record with light. While completing her Honours BA at the University of Toronto, she was first introduced to the medium of holography. Under the direction of P.I. Michael Page, Natalie was a longstanding Research Assistant with PHASE Lab (Prototype Holographics for Art and Science Explorations) from 2011-2017 at OCAD-University. While completing her Master’s of Fine Art in Documentary Media at Ryerson University in 2014, she started a production company and worked freelance in the Film and Television Industry as a cinematographer and editor. Natalie’s approach to documentary, wedding videography and music videos is contemporary, modern and candid. Notable employers who have contracted her services include CBC, Al Purdy Productions and Expanding Universe Productions. For the past year, Natalie has worked as an Advanced Research and Development Specialist at North (formerly Thalmic Labs), a smart glasses company that uses an HOE (holographic optical element) to send content from a projector to the wearer’s eye.
